Custom Stickers & Labels — Fermont, Quebec
Fermont is Canada's most architecturally unusual northern city — the Côte-Nord Quebec community where the Complexe Le Manoir (a single 1.3 km-long wall-building designed by Norbert Schoenauer, built 1974-1977 to house the entire population of 4,000 in a continuous windbreak megastructure that protects the community from the subarctic winds of the Labrador-Quebec border) represents the most ambitious attempt in Canadian architecture to design a community against the northern environment — home of the Wabush Lakes iron ore deposits (shared with Labrador City across the provincial border), the Innu community of Labrador, and a community whose entire existence is contained within a single building that is simultaneously a mall, a hotel, a school, a sports complex, and 220 apartments.
